A defendant may already be represented but may want a second opinion on the evidence to assist them in making their decision with regards to taking or rejecting advice that they have been given by their lawyer. This service can be provided in confidence so as not to undermine the existing client lawyer relationship. Usually it is sufficient to have a consultation and the case papers to advise. An honest and experienced opinion will be given which may assist a defendant to make a final decision in relation to their case. |
