These enquiries can very enormously in their gravity and depth from the trivial to the most grave. At these times a suspect will need support that they know is impartial, objective and experienced. There will be those who are aware that they are the object of enquiries either as a suspect or as a witness. It is not unknown for the police to be intimidating in their manner which makes the prospect of direct contact difficult and stressful. The enquiry itself may require sensitive and experienced handling. I can arrange to see you prior to any meeting to advise on your position both in fact and in law. This is usually more convenient and less stressful than a rushed meeting at or just before an appointment. The timing and location of appointments can often be arranged to suit the client’s circumstances. I can represent you at the police station and, if the matter goes to court arrange for your representation in the courts. Note, witnesses do not have the right to be represented in UK courts. |
