Money Laundering
This is a relatively new area of criminal law and can be linked with Drug trafficking and other areas of criminality. Essentially, money laundering is the concealing or making ‘clean’ money, which are the proceeds of crime or intended for use in crime.
Money laundering is a complex issue not easily summarised but not only prosecution authorities but also governments take it very seriously.
