This service is also available to lawyers in the UK and abroad who need either advice or assistance in managing cases involving the criminal law of England and Wales. Many lawyers' firms do not normally deal with criminal cases and may not have the expertise 'in house' to handle the occasional criminal case. I am able to take over the whole matter and report progress at regular intervals as may be agreed.
Alternatively, lawyers may have insufficient resources to manage a large or difficult matter or where travel may be a problem . In these cases I am able to take responsibility for preparation of parts or aspects of cases and leave the bulk of casework to you. The work that I could undertake might include taking proofs/statements from witnesses, dealing directly with clients, investigation and research and briefing counsel.
Some enquiry agents provide similar a service but very few have the expertise and background that I am able to offer.
By using this service you can be sure that there will be no client 'poaching' and that work, subject to agreement, can merge with the style and presentation of your firm. An introductory meeting can be arranged prior to the commencement of work where appropriate.
References can be provided to lawyers if required.
