Conspiracy

In law, a conspiracy is basically an illegal agreement between two or more people to do a criminal act. For example, two youths that agree to break into cars are guilty of a ‘conspiracy to steal’. It is not necessary to prove an agreement that can be inferred by the circumstances of an individual case.

Conspiracy is not always charged even when there is evidence. It is more normally charged in serious matters or where the basic evidence is not considered conclusive.
